All the information about LA Santacon Sleighpasses
Greetings and Salutations,
Los Angeles Santacon is happening on December 10th. We are sleighing this year. Buy a sleigh pass to join us in the festivities, or plan on getting your own uber/lyfts. Regular sleigh passes include the bus transportation and our usual extras TBD!
As mentioned, the bus company has increased prices - can you believe the audacity, they even increased their prices an additional $120/bus since our last email!!! If you want to throw in some extra donations, that would be grand. Early bird passes are sold out.
Sleigh pass packages with the sleigh pass, a Santa ID and Sticker are $40.
Sleigh pass package + $10 donation to low income fund are $50.
Please don’t wait to the last minute if you think you are coming.

I bought my ticket, what’s next?
We’re using a new “ticketing” system this year. It was so easy (e.g. minimal fees, easy set up) to use the system we used for donations (& this substack) the past couple years, we decided to use it for the tickets. Except, it’s not actually a ticketing system, and won’t send you a confirmation. Whoops!! Cacophony! Did we mention we are volunteer run not in it for the money?
If your payment went through, you’re good. You will be getting a manual confirmation from yours truly the weekend after you bought your ticket (or the day before Santacon if you wait to the last minute). You must know the email address you bought the ticket with - and you should receive an email confirming your ticket. If you have not received a confirmation, email lasantacon@gmail.com and include the email address/es you used to buy your tickets.
Embrace the Cacophony! That’s what this is all about.
Where are we starting?
Start location is always announced the day before the event. This is classic protocol. We’ll notify ticket holders first (maybe a day earlier at the email address you used to buy your sleigh pass) and then more broadly announce it - including on this list.
Start time is generally: Saturday, December 10, Noon.
We’ll send updates via our Twitter account as long as it’s still standing.

ps. We’ve heard there are some other copycat santacons happening in LA this season. This always happens. We are the only Los Angeles Santacon directly descended from the Cacophony Society - a random group of free spirits who organized the first Santacon in San Francisco in the 90s and who were also responsible for bringing Burning Man to Black Rock City. But after a decade+, most folks know me, Santa Vescent, and others.
